Common questions
How is this different from teaching individually on the marketplace?
The individual marketplace is for one teacher selling their own courses to a public audience. Schools is for institutions: you bring your own students, your own teachers, your own brand. There's no public catalog cross-mixing — your school is your own walled garden.
Can my teachers create courses themselves?
Yes. Once invited, each teacher gets the full course editor — they can create slides, quizzes, cohorts, run gradebooks, message students. They only see and touch your school's content.
How many teachers and students can I have?
Limits depend on your plan. The free tier gets you started; higher tiers unlock more teacher seats and more storage. There's no hard cap on students on any plan.
Can I bring my own custom domain?
Path-based URLs (like platform.com/s/yourschool) are included in all school plans. A fully custom domain (like school.yourdomain.com) requires a standalone license — contact sales if that's important to you.
Do parents get access?
Yes — observer accounts let a parent or guardian view their student's progress (which courses, completion %, recent activity). They can't enroll, can't grade, just observe.
What about payments?
Schools can charge for enrollment via Stripe (your own Stripe account, your own Stripe Connect setup) or run free for institutional use. The platform takes no cut on Schools-tier transactions.
