Trove (“the app,” “we,” “us”) is a personal asset catalog. This policy explains what information the app handles and how it is protected. We designed Trove to be private by default.
Trove stores the information you choose to enter, including item names, descriptions, categories, valuations, acquisition details, photographs, tags, and notes. This data is written to a local database on the server where you install the app and to image files you upload.
Your catalog data is stored in the application’s own database and uploads folder on the server you control. It is not transmitted to Trove or any third party as part of normal use. If you enable an optional cloud-sync or backup feature in the future, data covered by that feature will be processed only as described at the time you enable it, and only with your explicit consent.
Images and documents you attach are stored as files alongside your catalog. They are served only to you through the app. Please avoid uploading documents that contain sensitive identifiers you would not want stored in plain files.
The app may link to external marketplaces (for example, to research market prices). Those sites have their own privacy practices, and this policy does not cover them.
Your data remains until you delete it. You can remove individual items, photos, and attachments at any time, or export and then clear your catalog from Settings.
Trove is intended for adults managing their own property and is not directed to children under 13.
We may update this policy. Material changes will be reflected by the “Last updated” date above.
